Poor water and sanitation lead to over 900 child deaths daily from diarrheal diseases. Currently, 2.2 billion people lack access to safe drinking water. This shortage affects health, education, and economic growth, particularly in low-income areas.
Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet it remains elusive for many in underprivileged areas of developing nations. The lack of this basic necessity perpetuates cycles of poverty and disease, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable solutions.
Last year, we made progress toward a future with cleaner water by installing a water filtration plant in Chaowal village, Tehsil Kot Momin, District Sargodha, Pakistan.
However, given the electricity shortages in Pakistan, our focus has shifted to converting it to solar power for continuous clean water supply.
